Environmental Service Attendant - Morristown, TN
C1 Staffing is hiring Environmental Service Attendants in Morristown, TN to clean and maintain facilities on a client site, with pay at $14.25 per hour and overtime paid at $19.95 per hour. This is a day shift role running 7:00am to 3:30pm, and it is a contract assignment with the potential to move to contract-to-hire for the right person.
Please read this part carefully before applying: this is not a full-time, every-week position. Attendants in this role are used to backfill shifts when regular staff are on vacation or out sick, and to support special projects. There will be weeks when hours are limited or when you are not needed at all. If you are looking for steady 40 hours every single week, this is probably not the right fit.
What you will do:- Clean and keep facilities and assigned locations in an orderly condition- Work in any assigned location on client premises, which may include commercial buildings, health care settings, schools, universities or similar establishments- Cover open shifts when regular staff are out on vacation or sick leave- Support special cleaning projects as assigned- Follow assigned cleaning routines and task lists for each location you are placed in- Move between areas and buildings on the premises as directed during the shift- Maintain dependable attendance so scheduled coverage shifts are filled
Schedule and pay:- $14.25 per hour, with overtime paid at $19.95 per hour- Shift runs 7:00am to 3:30pm- Hours average around 32 per week, but vary week to week based on coverage needs- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk and bend throughout the shift- Ability to perform cleaning tasks for the length of the shift- Reliable, flexible availability for varying weekly schedules, including weeks with limited hours- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail- Willingness to work in any assigned location on the client premises
