C1 Staffing is hiring an Overnight Production Associate in Hayward, CA (94544) to help produce and inspect pizza dough inside a refrigerated distribution center. This is a full-time, ongoing production role paying $23.00 per hour, with weekly paychecks.
What you will do:- Take part in the complete processing and manufacturing of pizza dough, rotating through specialized line positions throughout the shift, including dough maker, dough bot, dough placer, tray washer, and cross/down stacker.- Determine the correct batch recipe, then gather, measure, and mix ingredients, and make sure dough is delivered into the rounder.- Record batch data, maintain the proofing library, and work toward achieving and maintaining dough certification.- Perform metal detector checkups and dough temperature monitoring, check sifter tailings on time, and document all findings accordingly.- Change dough sizes on the dough divider, metal detector, dough bot, and ink jet as needed, and report any irregularities to the supervisor or manager.- Monitor equipment and make interventions through the HMI, troubleshoot automated equipment such as the stacker, dolly loader, and tray buffer, and organize dough by size inside the dough cooler.- Load trays onto the conveyor for cleaning, monitor gauges and settings for water pressure, water temperature, and detergent levels, and conduct titration or chemical testing on tray washer equipment as needed.- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas, with possible cross-training in the warehouse or sanitation areas.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate: $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.- Shift type: full time.- Overnight production schedule.
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older.- Ability to work with yeast and flour products.- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and climb stairs during the shift.- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform pushing of product.- Ability to work continuously in refrigerated conditions between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit.- Ability to work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery when necessary.- Steel-toe boots are required for this assignment.- Comfort using food safety PPE such as hair nets, beard nets, gloves, and safety glasses while on the production floor.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
