Cleaning crew members are needed in Kansas City, MO (64129) to pick up trash, sweep, and keep restrooms and public areas clean through C1 Staffing. This is a hands-on janitorial assignment paying $18.00 per hour, with pay issued weekly.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and loose litter throughout assigned areas, including walkways and seating sections- Collect and sort recycling, keeping recyclable material separate from general waste- Empty garbage cans, replace liners, and move full bags to the designated collection points- Sweep floors, aisles, and other hard surfaces to keep walking areas clear and presentable- Clean restrooms, including fixtures, sinks, and surfaces, and remove waste from restroom receptacles- Restock and tidy restroom areas as needed during the shift- Make repeated passes through assigned zones so that trash and recycling do not build up- Report spills, damage, or safety concerns to the onsite supervisor right away
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $18.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing
What you will need:- Must be 18 years of age or older- Able to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Able to lift up to 50 pounds- Able to carry up to 50 pounds- Willingness to work through all assigned areas at a steady pace, including restrooms and trash collection points- Dependability and the ability to follow directions from an onsite supervisor
This is straightforward cleaning work, and the people who do well in it are the ones who keep moving, pay attention to detail, and take pride in leaving an area better than they found it. You will be on your feet for most of the shift, walking assigned zones, handling bagged trash and recycling, and returning to restrooms and high-traffic spots more than once so that conditions stay clean from start to finish. No two shifts look exactly alike, so flexibility and a good attitude go a long way. If you have done janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, event cleanup, or general labor work before, you will recognize the pace here, but prior experience is not required to be considered. What matters most is showing up on time, ready to work, and staying with the task until the area is finished.
