C1 Staffing is hiring a Cook I in Tulsa, OK to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract-to-hire assignment paying $16.15 per hour, with the potential to convert to a permanent position for cooks who consistently deliver quality work.
What you will do:
- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items with accuracy and efficiency- Support multiple meal periods throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Assist with special events and catered functions as scheduled- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines consistently so every plate meets expectations- Work at a steady pace during peak meal service while maintaining quality and consistency- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and prep areas throughout your shift- Support coworkers on the line and in prep areas as volume and meal periods demand
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $16.15 per hour- Overtime is paid at $22.61 per hour- Full-time, 40 hours per week- Contract-to-hire, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance- Paid weekly
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Prior cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen setting- Ability to be on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines accurately- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail- A team-first attitude and willingness to support coworkers during busy meal service- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
