Retail Sales Associate - Milwaukee, WI (53202)
C1 Staffing is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for a specialty retail store in downtown Milwaukee, 53202, paying $14.50 per hour. This is shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis for associates who show up ready and reliable.
What you will do:- Accurately process customer purchases, enter orders and perform other point-of-sale functions with attention to detail and efficiency- Restock merchandise and keep inventory organized, labeled and accessible on the sales floor and in the stockroom- Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing and processing shipments while maintaining accurate product placement- Help with opening and closing procedures, including preparing the store for customers, restocking, cleaning and securing the store- Keep the sales floor, stockroom and customer areas clean, organized and visually appealing throughout the day- Warmly welcome customers, stay approachable and assist with customer needs while completing operational tasks- Answer basic product and store questions, provide helpful direction and connect customers with product specialists when deeper expertise or selling assistance is needed- Work closely with product specialists and store leadership to respond to changing peak-hour priorities, identify tasks that need attention and take action without waiting to be directed
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $14.50 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Shift-based retail work that may be ongoing
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Authorized to work in the United States; this assignment requires E-Verify- Comfortable standing, walking, bending and moving throughout the shift, and able to help unpack and move shipments- Ability to balance operational tasks with being attentive and available to customers- Willingness to follow company policies, procedures, safety standards and direction from store leadership- Dress code: solid-color shirts with no visible logos, t-shirt length or longer; no hoodies; no profanity or offensive language or imagery on clothing; shirts should not expose the midriff or have plunging necklines- Jeans or slacks without tears or holes are required; cutoffs and athletic wear, including athletic, acrylic or stretchy-fabric leggings worn alone, are not acceptable- Closed-toe shoes are required for cleanliness and safety; no sandals, open-toe or open-back shoes- Clean appearance, including hair, facial hair and nails; nails should not extend more than 1 cm beyond the fingertip- No perfume or other scents, including smoke, since the store's aromas are part of the customer experience- Visible tattoos are fine as long as they do not contain offensive words or images- An apron is provided for each shift
