What you will do:- Set up tables, serving lines, chafing dishes, and beverage stations before service begins- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous, professional manner throughout the event- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as the event runs so service lines never run short- Keep service areas neat, organized, and fully stocked during the entire event- Clear tables and bus dishes as guests finish, keeping the floor presentable- Assist with breakdown of tables, serving equipment, and beverage stations after service- Complete post-event cleanup of service and staging areas- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food, beverages, and equipment
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $17.84 per hour- Paid weekly- One-day catering event assignment- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing with additional event assignments
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the event- Ability to lift as needed while setting up, serving, and breaking down the event- Reliable transportation and on-time arrival for the scheduled shift- Clean, professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines- Prior catering, banquet, or food service experience is helpful but not required
