C1 Staffing is hiring Barista I team members for a client partner in San Jose, CA (95110 area served by this posting), where you will make hand-crafted beverages and deliver friendly, fast service to every guest. Pay is $23.28 per hour with overtime paid at $32.59 per hour, and this is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract role with contract-to-hire potential.
What you will do:- Craft quality hand-made beverages, including coffee, tea and specialty drinks, prepared to each customer's specifications- Greet guests, take orders accurately and deliver drinks quickly during busy periods- Operate cash registers and credit card machines and handle each transaction correctly- Answer customer questions and field complaints professionally to maintain strong guest relationships- Keep speed of service high so beverages reach customers without delay, even during rushes- Keep the beverage station clean, stocked and ready for service throughout the shift- Provide exceptional customer service that keeps guests coming back

What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Friendly, service-first attitude and clear communication skills- Comfort working at a fast pace while staying accurate with orders and payments- Ability to stand and move throughout your shift in an active beverage service environment- Basic comfort handling cash and card transactions- Reliability and strong attendance for a full-time weekly schedule- Prior barista or food service experience is a plus, but not required- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
