C1 Staffing is hiring full-time Housekeepers in Chantilly, VA (20151) to clean and reset guest rooms to brand standard. The role pays $16.00 per hour, paid weekly, and it is an ongoing career position with room to grow for people who show up and do solid work.
What you will do:
- Clock in on time, attend the daily briefing, collect your master key and assignment sheet, and review your assigned rooms including checkouts, stayovers, and priority rooms.- Prepare and organize your housekeeping cart with clean linens and towels, guest amenities such as soap, shampoo, and coffee, cleaning supplies, and PPE.- Knock and announce "Housekeeping" before entering, respect Do Not Disturb signs at all times, then turn on lights, open curtains, and assess the room condition.- Strip used linens, replace them with fresh linens, and make beds to brand standard so they are tight, wrinkle-free, and properly aligned.- Dust furniture, lamps, and fixtures, and sanitize high-touch areas including handles, remotes, light switches, and phones.- Clean bathrooms thoroughly by disinfecting the toilet, sink, and shower or tub, replacing towels and amenities, cleaning mirrors, polishing fixtures, and leaving no hair, stains, or residue.- Vacuum carpets and mop floors, empty trash and replace liners, replenish amenities to brand placement standards, and set room temperature, lighting, and presentation so the room is odor-free and visually perfect.- Collect and separate soiled linens without mixing them with clean items, send linens to laundry per procedure, restock your cart, and update room status accurately as clean, inspected, or out of order.- Greet guests politely in hallways, respond quickly to requests for towels and toiletries, report maintenance issues and safety hazards, and handle lost and found items according to policy.- Meet daily productivity targets of typically 12 to 18 rooms per shift while holding quality standards for inspections and QA, and at the end of shift clean your cart, return keys and equipment, and report completed rooms and any unfinished tasks to your supervisor.
Additional job-related duties may be assigned by a supervisor or manager based on operational needs, and those tasks are considered part of the role.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly.- This is a full-time, ongoing position.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Entry-level candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.- English language proficiency.- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 25 lbs.- Attention to detail and the discipline to repeat the same high standard in every room.- This position participates in E-Verify.
