C1 Staffing is hiring Senior Food Service Supervisors for a client location in Los Angeles, California, where you will coordinate the daily work of food service teams under the direction of on-site management. This role pays $29.92 per hour with overtime paid at $41.89 per hour, and it is a contract position with ongoing, contract-to-hire potential.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the routine work activities of food service workers and support staff during daily operations- Provide oversight at the direction of on-site management across food operations and services- Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees throughout the normal course of business- Direct workers and service employees engaged in food operations at larger, complex facilities- Keep service moving in high-volume settings such as commercial sites, health care facilities, schools, universities, and similar establishments- Communicate shift expectations, assignments, and priorities clearly to the team- Step in to support management with day-to-day problem solving as issues come up on the floor- Help maintain a professional, team-first environment across every shift you cover
Schedule and pay:
- $29.92 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $41.89 per hour- 40 hours per week- Schedules vary, so flexibility across shifts is important- Contract role with ongoing, contract-to-hire potential
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Prior supervisory or lead experience in food service or a related operations environment- Comfort directing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting- Dependable attendance and the ability to adapt to varying shift schedules- Strong communication skills and a professional, team-first approach- Ability to be on your feet and moving throughout the shift in an active food service environment
