C1 Staffing is hiring a Lead Worker - Facilities in Jefferson City, MO 65109, paying $17.42 per hour with weekly paychecks. This is an ongoing, contract-to-hire assignment with strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right person.
In this role you will be the point person for a small facilities crew, keeping the building clean, safe, and running smoothly while setting the pace for the team. It is a hands-on lead position, so you will be working alongside your crew as well as directing it.
What you will do:- Lead and coordinate the daily work of a small facilities crew, setting priorities and keeping tasks on schedule- Perform general building maintenance, including minor repairs as needed- Handle cleaning duties and grounds upkeep across assigned areas- Inspect work areas for safety concerns and report issues promptly- Track supplies and equipment so the crew has what it needs to finish the job- Record completed work and report progress to your supervisor- Train new team members on procedures and safe work practices- Support the crew throughout the shift, answering questions and stepping in where help is needed

What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior facilities, janitorial, maintenance, or grounds experience- Some lead or crew-leader background preferred- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift- Dependable attendance and a safety-first mindset- Clear communication and the ability to direct others professionally- Must pass pre-placement screening requirements
