Cook - Grill / Food Service Worker - Georgetown, KY (40324)
C1 Staffing is hiring grill cooks and food service workers to support two busy on-site cafes in Georgetown, Kentucky (zip 40324). Both first shift and second shift openings are available, and you will be paid weekly as a W-2 employee of C1 Staffing.
What you will do:
- Work the grill station during high-volume meal periods, cooking items to order and keeping up with ticket flow- Prepare, portion and stage ingredients before service so the line is ready when the cafe opens- Hold food at correct temperatures and monitor cook times so items go out hot, consistent and safe- Serve guests at the counter and on the line, answering questions about menu items and handling special requests- Keep the grill, flat top, hood area, prep tables and utensils clean and sanitized throughout the shift- Restock the service line with product, condiments, utensils and packaging as needed- Follow food safety, allergen and sanitation standards and complete temperature and cleaning logs- Support the cafe team with dish, prep and closing duties, and move between the two cafe locations as scheduled
Schedule and pay:
- First shift runs 5:00am to 1:30pm- Second shift runs 3:00pm to 11:30pm- Paid weekly
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Valid Food Handler Card (certification required)- Comfortable standing, walking, bending and reaching for the length of the shift in a hot kitchen environment- Ability to work quickly and accurately during peak meal rushes while keeping quality consistent- Willingness to follow established recipes, portion standards and sanitation procedures- Dependable attendance and on-time arrival for an early morning or evening start, depending on the shift you are placed on- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification- Site badging is required before your first day, so you will need to be available to attend a scheduled badge class
