C1 Staffing is hiring a Registered Dietitian I in Tarboro, NC (27886) to deliver clinical nutrition care for patients at a healthcare facility. The assignment pays $32.00 per hour with overtime at $44.80 per hour, paid weekly, on a Monday through Friday daytime schedule.

What you will do:- Deliver nutrition care to patients using the Nutrition Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation- Serve as a nutrition resource for patients, peers, and foodservice staff throughout the facility- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other departments to support safe, high-quality patient care- Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients- Provide nutrition training and guidance to staff who support patient meals and care- Maintain professional practice in line with regulatory, facility, and company standards- Support client commitments and documentation requirements tied to the contractual agreement for nutrition services- Carry on-call responsibility every other weekend to cover patient nutrition needs
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $32.00 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $44.80 per hour- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week- On-call coverage every other weekend in addition to the weekday schedule- Assignment runs September 7, 2026 through December 7, 2026, with potential to become contract-to-hire
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Registered Dietitian credential in good standing- Comfort working in a clinical, patient-facing environment- Ability to apply the Nutrition Care Process independently and document accurately- Strong communication skills for working with clinical teams, foodservice staff, and patients- Availability for the every-other-weekend on-call rotation- Ability to move throughout a healthcare facility during the shift, including walking between units and standing for periods of time while rounding on patients- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
