C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Knoxville, TN (37921) for gig, shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis. The pay is $21.00 per hour, paid weekly, and on-the-job training is provided for the right candidate.
This role supports a bin-located warehouse operation that handles HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. You will move between receiving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What you will do:- Receive and process incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies, and document merchandise for delivery or return- Pick, scan, and fill orders from stock in a bin-located warehouse, then pack and ship them- Load and unload delivery vehicles- Keep an accurate inventory of all products entering and exiting the warehouse- Scan products to confirm each shipment goes to the correct destination- Manage, organize, and retrieve product throughout the warehouse- Work closely with internal customers such as store associates and sales managers to coordinate product delivery- Provide excellent service to external customers including mechanical contractors, dealers, and owners, while upholding Environmental Health and Safety standards
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $21.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig, shift-based assignment that may be ongoing
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum 2 to 3 years of warehouse operational experience- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- PC skills along with experience using inventory and shipping/receiving systems- Experience operating at least one powered industrial vehicle is preferred: sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck, or dock stocker; powered industrial equipment experience is preferred and on-the-job training is available- Excellent written and verbal communication plus strong interpersonal and team-building skills- Proven commitment to customer service and to a safe working environment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to handle multiple tasks at once- Ability to load, unload, and move warehouse product, including HVAC equipment and supplies- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
