C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term assignment in Kansas City, MO, working day shifts from 7:00am to 2:00pm. The role pays $18.63 per hour, paid weekly, and it is a strong fit for someone who takes pride in a clean, organized kitchen and can keep a dishroom running smoothly from the first rack to the last.
What you will do:- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for the staff working around you throughout the shift- Wash and clean tableware, including plates, glassware, flatware and serving pieces- Wash pots, pans and cooking equipment, returning them to the line promptly so cooks are never waiting- Keep the dishroom itself clean and organized, including sorting, stacking and staging clean items where they belong- Clean dish machines and related equipment and make sure they are maintained in working, sanitary condition- Set the pace and the standard for the dishroom area so the station stays ahead of the volume coming in- Keep floors, counters and work surfaces in the dish area clear and safe during service and at the end of the shift
Schedule and pay:- $18.63 per hour- Overtime paid at $26.08 per hour- Day shift, 7:00am to 2:00pm- Approximately 40 hours per week- Short-term contract assignment- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Dependable attendance for the full assignment window, start to finish- Comfortable standing, lifting and moving for the full length of the shift- Able to work around heat, steam, water and cleaning chemicals in a busy dishroom- Willingness to take the lead on keeping the dish area organized and on pace- Uniform required: black shirt, black pants and non-slip shoes
