Barista I - Saint Davids, PA
C1 Staffing is hiring a Barista I in Saint Davids, PA, to craft hand-made coffee, tea, and specialty drinks while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract-to-hire role paying $21.32 per hour, with the potential to continue and convert to a permanent position.
What you will do:
- Craft quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages by hand, made to each customer's specifications- Take customer orders accurately and deliver drinks quickly and consistently- Operate cash registers and credit card machines for customer transactions- Answer customer questions and field complaints professionally to maintain strong customer relations- Keep the service area clean, stocked, and ready for the next guest- Maintain speedy delivery of all beverages during busy afternoon and evening periods- Work as part of a team to keep the counter moving and the customer experience positive
Schedule and pay:
- $21.32 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $29.85 per hour- Full-time, 40 hours per week- Shift is 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.- Contract-to-hire assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent position
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Genuine, friendly customer service skills and a positive attitude- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment during a busy afternoon and evening shift- Ability to stand for the length of the shift- Reliable attendance and punctuality- Comfort handling cash and card transactions accurately- Dress code is all black attire, black on black, for every shift
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys the pace of a busy beverage counter and takes pride in getting each drink right. You will be the face of the service area for every guest who steps up to the counter, so a warm greeting, clear communication, and steady hands matter as much as speed. Prior barista or cafe experience is helpful, but a strong service mindset and willingness to learn drink recipes and register procedures go a long way.
