C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Prep Helper to support daily kitchen and food production work at a client kitchen operation in Kansas City, MO 64165. The pay is $16.96 per hour with overtime paid at $23.74 per hour, and this is a contract assignment with ongoing and contract-to-hire potential for the right candidate.
This role works primarily in the kitchen, assisting with the preparation of foodstuffs and keeping work stations and production equipment clean and sanitized. If you like early starts, steady routines, and hands-on kitchen work, this is a strong fit.
What you will do:- Work primarily in the kitchen supporting daily food production- Assist with the preparation of foodstuffs according to production standards- Follow written instructions and production standards on each food item you help prepare- Clean and sanitize work stations throughout the shift- Clean and sanitize production equipment to maintain food safety standards- Support the production team with other kitchen tasks as assigned- Maintain consistent attention to cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas
Schedule and pay:- $16.96 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $23.74 per hour- Monday through Friday, 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM CST- Averaging 40 hours per week- Contract assignment with the possibility of continued work and contract-to-hire potential
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand for the length of the shift and perform repetitive tasks- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen and production environment- Reliability and consistent on-time attendance for an early start time- Attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and following written instructions- Willingness to pitch in on other kitchen and production tasks as assigned
