C1 Staffing is hiring Wait Staff (Non-Tipped) in Washington, DC 20015 to deliver prompt, courteous table service in a busy dining setting. The role pays $23.97 per hour, paid weekly, with full-time hours and the potential to move into a contract-to-hire opportunity.
What you will do:- Provide prompt and courteous service to every customer who comes through the dining area- Deliver efficient and attentive table service from the first greeting through closing out the table- Anticipate guest needs during the meal and consistently exceed customer expectations- Keep the dining environment clean, organized and welcoming throughout the shift- Reset and maintain tables and service areas so seating stays ready for the next guests- Work alongside kitchen and service teammates to keep food moving and service running smoothly- Communicate clearly with guests and coworkers about orders, timing and any special requests
Schedule and pay:- $23.97 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $33.56 per hour- 40 hours per week- Shifts fall within a 10am to 9pm window- Ongoing contract assignment with potential to move into a contract-to-hire opportunity
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- A professional, guest-first attitude and strong communication skills- Comfort standing and walking for the length of a shift- Ability to carry trays and move between the dining room and kitchen throughout service- Reliable attendance and the ability to commit to the full assignment window- Prior food service or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
