Forklift Driver - Full Time
C1 Staffing is hiring a full-time Forklift Driver for a bin-located warehouse operation in Hanover, MD 21076, handling HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. This is an ongoing career position paying $19.00 per hour, with weekly pay.
What you will do:
- Operate a sit down forklift to move, stage, and retrieve HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies throughout a bin-located warehouse.- Receive and document incoming merchandise for delivery or return, and process returns accurately.- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.- Pick, scan, and fill orders from stock, then pack and ship them to the correct destination.- Keep an accurate inventory of all products entering and exiting the warehouse using inventory and shipping/receiving systems.- Organize, manage, and retrieve product in the warehouse to support efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards at all times.- Work closely with internal customers such as store associates and sales managers on product delivery, and provide excellent service to external customers including mechanical contractors, dealers, and owners.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay rate: $19.00 per hour.- Shift type: Full Time.- Paid weekly.- Ongoing, career-type assignment rather than a short-term project.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- High school diploma or equivalent.- Current forklift certification.- Experience operating a sit down forklift is required; experience with an order picker, reach truck, or dock stocker is also valuable.- Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience, with proven ability in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when documenting, scanning, and counting product.- PC skills and hands-on experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems.- Excellent written and oral communication along with interpersonal and team-building skills.- A proven commitment to customer service and to a safe working environment.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to handle multiple tasks at once.- Ability to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, including loading and unloading vehicles and moving product throughout the warehouse.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
