C1 Staffing is hiring Cooks for institution and cafeteria food service in Round Rock, TX 78665. This is shift-based work that pays $20.00 per hour, with the potential for ongoing assignments for cooks who show up ready to work.

What you will do:- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and menu items according to established recipes and portion guidelines- Follow all food handling, health, and safety regulations so every item is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner- Assist with food presentation and serving, making sure plates and service items look appealing and meet quality standards- Keep kitchen equipment, prep stations, and work areas clean and organized throughout the shift- Work alongside other kitchen staff to keep meal service moving efficiently during peak periods- Monitor food quality and consistency so guests receive the same standard every time- Handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention on detail and accuracy
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig and shift-based work, which may become ongoing depending on the schedule and your availability
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Previous cooking experience in an institutional or cafeteria setting is preferred- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively- Strong attention to detail and genuine interest in food preparation and presentation- Comfortable standing for the length of the shift and working in a hot, busy kitchen environment- Ability to collaborate with other kitchen staff and take direction during service- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to complete E-Verify
