Janitors and Cleaners - Austin, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for shift-based work in Austin, Texas, with pay set at $16.00 per hour. We have 10 openings on this assignment, and the work may continue on an ongoing basis for people who show up and do the job well.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and loose debris throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas- Collect and sort recycling and move it to the correct bins or staging areas- Empty garbage cans, replace liners, and haul full bags to designated disposal points- Sweep floors, walkways, and common areas to keep spaces clear and presentable- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, sinks, counters, and floors- Restock bathroom supplies as needed and report anything running low- Keep janitorial carts, supplies, and storage areas organized and ready for the next shift- Let your supervisor or C1 recruiter know about spills, damage, or safety concerns right away
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig / shift-based work that may be ongoing- 10 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to be on your feet for the full shift, including walking, standing, bending, and reaching- Ability to lift and carry trash and recycling bags and push or pull a janitorial cart- Comfortable working with standard cleaning supplies and following label and safety instructions- Attention to detail so bathrooms, floors, and common areas are finished to standard- Willingness to work independently once you know the route, and to communicate with your supervisor when something needs attention- Dependability and on-time arrival for every scheduled shift
