C1 Staffing is hiring Senior Utility Workers for a kitchen operation in Cincinnati, Ohio, where you will keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and in working order while acting as the lead utility person on shift. Pay is $19.13 per hour with overtime paid at $26.78 per hour, and this is a contract-to-hire role, so strong performers may be considered for permanent hire.
What you will do:- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean, sanitary, and fully working order- Serve as the senior utility person on shift and set the standard for the rest of the utility team- Provide direction and guidance to lower-level employees throughout the shift- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils and return them to their proper storage locations- Stock supplies and keep stations supplied so the kitchen team can keep moving during busy periods- Handle general upkeep of the kitchen, including cleaning surfaces and equipment between tasks- Support the broader kitchen team wherever extra hands are needed during service- Report equipment issues or supply shortages so they can be addressed quickly
Schedule and pay:- $19.13 per hour, with overtime paid at $26.78 per hour- Roughly 40 hours per week- Paid weekly- Contract-to-hire assignment with the possibility of permanent hire for strong performers
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior kitchen, dishwashing, or utility experience, with the ability to lead and direct others- Comfort standing for full shifts, along with frequent lifting and bending- Ability to work at a steady pace in a busy, fast-moving kitchen environment- Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude- Uniform required: black pants and a black shirt
