Food Service Worker - Osawatomie, KS 66064
C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker in Osawatomie, KS (66064) to help set up, serve, and clean up in a busy food service operation. This is an ongoing career position paying $14.54 per hour, with weekly paychecks.
What you will do:
- Assist with the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables, keeping service moving smoothly and efficiently.- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between areas as needed throughout the shift.- Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, steam tables, and work stations in line with health and safety regulations.- Work alongside kitchen staff to keep food preparation areas organized, stocked, and ready for service.- Help present food in a neat, visually appealing way so guests have a good dining experience.- Follow food handling and sanitation standards at every step, from setup through final cleanup.- Restock service areas and supplies during and between meal periods.- Communicate with team members about service timing, stock levels, and cleaning needs.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay rate: $14.54 per hour.- Paid weekly.- Ongoing, career-type assignment rather than a short-term fill-in.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required - C1 Staffing is willing to train the right candidate.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep pace in a fast-moving kitchen and service environment.- Good communication and teamwork skills, since you will be coordinating with kitchen and service staff throughout the shift.- A genuine commitment to keeping equipment, work stations, and service areas clean and safe.- Ability to stand, walk, and move between food preparation and service areas for the length of the shift, including repeated bending, reaching, and carrying of food service items.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
