C1 Staffing is hiring experienced Food Service Supervisors for an assignment in La Palma, CA, overseeing routine daily operations in a large, complex food service environment. The role pays $28.89 per hour with overtime at $40.45 per hour, on a steady Monday through Friday daytime schedule.
This is an ongoing contract assignment with contract-to-hire potential for supervisors who show strong leadership and dependable attendance. You will work under the direction of on-site management, coordinating the people and processes that keep food service running on schedule.
What you will do:- Coordinate routine daily work activities for food service workers and service employees on site- Provide oversight under the direction of on-site management across food operations and services- Support management with the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business- Help keep service running smoothly in a large, complex facility environment- Direct team members through service periods and communicate clearly with management on staffing and workflow needs- Monitor work in progress across food operations so tasks are completed in the right order and on time- Step in to support the team during busy service windows and address routine issues as they come up
Schedule and pay:- $28.89 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $40.45 per hour- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday- Shift runs 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM- Contract assignment with contract-to-hire potential
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior supervisory or lead experience in food service, such as commercial dining, health care, schools, universities, or similar establishments- Comfort directing a team and communicating clearly with management- Dependable attendance and the ability to work an early morning start- Ability to stand and move throughout a busy kitchen or service area for a full shift- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
