Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Worker II) - Distribution and LogisticsC1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation in Houston, TX 77015. This is an ongoing, career-oriented position paying $18.50 per hour, paid weekly.
This role supports inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. You will operate a forklift as part of the job, but you should expect to spend a significant portion of your shift on hands-on manual warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, sorting, and inventory work.
What you will do:- Receive and inspect incoming products, then store them in the correct locations to support daily operations.- Pick and pack products accurately to keep shipping and fulfillment orders moving on schedule.- Operate forklifts safely to move materials and pallets throughout the facility.- Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to transport and stage product for shipping and receiving.- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock and material movement.- Sort product and complete other hands-on manual warehouse tasks throughout the shift.- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, including work areas, aisles, and staging zones.- Support shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities as daily volume requires.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $18.50 per hour.- Paid weekly.- This is an ongoing, career-type assignment rather than a short-term project.
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older.- Previous warehouse experience.- Ability to safely operate a forklift.- Ability to lift, carry, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.- Comfort performing a mix of equipment operation and hands-on manual warehouse work in a fast-paced environment.- Attention to detail for inspecting product, picking orders accurately, and keeping inventory records correct.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
This position is a good fit for someone who likes to stay busy and takes pride in accuracy. Orders need to be picked and packed correctly the first time, inventory counts need to match, and equipment needs to be operated safely around coworkers. If you can switch between running a forklift and working on your feet moving product by hand, you will do well here.
