C1 Staffing is hiring Food Service Team Members (posted under the title Supervisor - Food) for a busy cafe operation in Green Bay, WI. This is a grill cook and prep cook role paying $23.95 per hour, with overtime paid at $33.53 per hour.
This is an ongoing, contract-to-hire position, which means strong performers have the opportunity to be hired on permanently by the client. The work is hands-on kitchen production supporting catering orders, pre-orders, and a high-volume grab-and-go cafe.
What you will do:- Cook on the grill and handle prep work for catering orders, pre-orders, and grab-and-go cafe items- Prepare food to order during peak service periods, keeping pace with customer demand- Stock and maintain serving stations so items are ready and presentable throughout service- Clean and organize prep areas, equipment, and work surfaces before, during, and after shifts- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, temperature, and storage practices- Work as part of a team to keep the cafe operation running smoothly from open through close of service- Communicate with kitchen staff about order volume, timing, and product availability
Schedule and pay:- $23.95 per hour- Overtime paid at $33.53 per hour- Shifts start at 7am- 40 hours per week available- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Ongoing, contract-to-hire assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior grill cook or prep cook experience preferred- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the length of the shift- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen during busy service windows- Your own safety shoes, which must be worn on site at all times- Must pass a drug screen and a background check, which are required for site access under the client contract
