C1 Staffing is hiring a Senior Environmental Service Attendant in Jefferson City, MO (65109) to lead a cleaning team and keep assigned facilities clean, orderly, and presentable. The role pays $16.13 per hour with overtime paid at $22.58 per hour, on a steady daytime Monday through Friday schedule.
This is a contract assignment with the potential to become contract-to-hire for the right person. You may be assigned to any location on the client premises, which can include commercial, healthcare, school, university, or similar establishments.
What you will do:- Serve as the employee lead for the cleaning team, setting the pace for the shift and supporting fellow attendants- Clean and maintain assigned facilities and locations so they stay in an orderly, presentable condition- Work in any assigned area on the premises, including commercial, healthcare, school, university, or similar settings- Follow all site safety, sanitation, and infection control practices at every location you cover- Help newer attendants learn site expectations, cleaning routines, and proper use of supplies and equipment- Communicate with the team about area assignments, coverage needs, and anything that needs follow-up- Keep work moving in a busy environment while maintaining professional, respectful conduct around staff and visitors
Schedule and pay:- $16.13 per hour, with overtime paid at $22.58 per hour- 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday- 40 hours per week, plus every other weekend- Paid weekly- Contract assignment with potential to go contract-to-hire
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior cleaning, custodial, or environmental services experience, ideally in a lead capacity- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift- Dependable attendance and the flexibility to cover alternating weekends- Willingness to work in any assigned location on the premises, including healthcare and education settings- Professional, team-oriented attitude in a busy environment- Comfort following safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
