Utility Worker - Saint Louis, MO
C1 Staffing is hiring a Utility Worker in Saint Louis, MO to keep kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils clean, sanitized and ready for service. This is a career-track assignment paying $16.84 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.58 per hour and a steady afternoon-to-evening schedule.
What you will do:
- Maintain clean, organized kitchen work areas throughout the entire shift- Wash and sanitize utensils, smallwares and cookware, then store them properly in their assigned locations- Clean kitchen equipment and keep it in good working order for the culinary team- Support cooks and other kitchen staff with tasks as needed during service- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards at every step of the process- Keep dish and prep areas stocked, wiped down and free of clutter so service runs smoothly- Break down and reset work stations so the kitchen is ready for the next shift
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $16.84 per hour- Overtime is paid at $23.58 per hour- Shift is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.- Averaging 32 hours per week- Paid weekly
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and a strong team mindset- Comfort standing and walking for the length of the shift- Ability to lift and work at a steady pace in a busy kitchen environment- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures consistently- Required uniform: black pants, black shirt and slip-resistant shoes
