C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker for a client location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, paying $16.94 per hour with overtime at $23.72 per hour.
This role supports a busy food service operation, with work taking place anywhere on the property where food is prepared. You will spend your day helping get food lines ready, serving guests from counters and steamtables, and keeping equipment and work stations clean and sanitized. It is a hands-on position that suits someone who likes to stay busy, works well with a team, and takes pride in a clean, well-run kitchen.
What you will do:- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, as assigned by the kitchen lead- Assist with the setup of serving counters and steamtables before each meal period- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables with a friendly, service-first approach- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work stations throughout the shift- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards during preparation, service, and cleanup- Break down serving areas and return equipment and supplies to their proper places- Support the kitchen team wherever extra hands are needed during peak service times
Schedule and pay:- $16.94 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.72 per hour- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm- A full 40 hours each week- Paid weekly- Contract assignment with potential to become contract-to-hire for the right candidate
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the full shift- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen and serving environment- Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures on every task- Uniform required: black polo shirt, black slacks, and black non-slip shoes
