Environmental Service Attendant - Senior - Lancaster, PA (17601)
C1 Staffing is hiring an experienced Environmental Service Attendant - Senior in Lancaster, PA (zip code 17601) to serve as the employee lead for cleaning and upkeep across assigned facilities. This is a career, ongoing position paying $22.73 per hour, with a start date of August 21, 2026.
In this role you may work in any location on client premises, keeping commercial buildings, health care facilities, schools, universities and other establishments clean and in orderly condition. You will set the standard for the crew and make sure the work gets done correctly and safely.
What you will do:
- Serve as the employee lead for environmental services, overseeing cleaning operations so high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout assigned locations.- Perform hands-on cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitizing surfaces in compliance with established safety and health standards.- Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on best practices for environmental services.- Coordinate with facility management to assess cleaning needs and prioritize tasks for an efficient workflow.- Monitor supplies and equipment, keep adequate inventory levels on hand and report any maintenance needs promptly.- Work in any assigned area on client premises, adjusting between commercial, health care, school and university settings as needed.- Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and clear communication with staff and management.

What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Previous experience in an environmental services role, preferably in a leadership capacity.- Strong working knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management.- Ability to be on your feet and perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitizing throughout the shift.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
