C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker for a client location in Montclair, New Jersey, supporting daily food setup, service, and sanitation. Pay is $18.54 per hour with overtime paid at $25.96 per hour, and this is a contract assignment with potential to become contract-to-hire for reliable team members who want steady, ongoing work.
What you will do:- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between areas as the day requires- Assist with food setup before and during service periods- Serve guests from counters and steamtables with accuracy and courtesy- Clean and sanitize equipment, work stations, and service areas throughout the shift- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards while handling, holding, and serving food- Shift between prep, serving, and cleaning tasks as needed to keep service running smoothly- Support the kitchen and service team during busy periods and at closing
Schedule and pay:- $18.54 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.96 per hour- Shift runs 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.- 40 hours per week- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Comfort working on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced kitchen and service environment- Ability to move between prep, serving, and cleaning tasks as the shift demands- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures consistently- Dependable attendance and a team-first attitude- Prior food service experience is helpful but not required
