Environmental Service Attendant - El Segundo, CA
C1 Staffing is hiring an Environmental Service Attendant for a client site in El Segundo, California, keeping facilities clean, sanitary, and presentable. This is an ongoing, contract-to-hire opportunity paying $21.55 per hour, with overtime paid at $30.17 per hour.
What you will do:
- Clean and maintain assigned facilities and areas so they stay orderly and presentable throughout your shift- Work in any location on the client premises as assigned, moving between areas as needs change- Support cleaning in environments that may include commercial buildings, health care settings, schools, universities, or similar establishments- Perform routine sanitation tasks that keep shared spaces safe and in good condition for staff and visitors- Follow all site safety, sanitation, and training procedures as directed- Complete required training before beginning work on site- Report supply needs, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate point of contact- Represent the site professionally while working around staff, visitors, and other building occupants
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $21.55 per hour, with overtime paid at $30.17 per hour- Shift runs 4:30 pm to 1:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week- Ongoing, contract-to-hire assignment with potential for permanent placement- Uniform is jeans and tennis shoes; shirts are provided- Paid weekly
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Ability to pass a background check and a drug test- Willingness to complete all required training before starting on site- Comfort with physical, on-your-feet cleaning work for the length of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, and moving between areas of the building- Reliable attendance and the ability to show up on schedule for every shift- A professional, team-oriented attitude around staff, visitors, and coworkers- Willingness to wear the required uniform of jeans and tennis shoes with the provided shirt
