C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term contract assignment in Nashville, TN 37204, keeping a busy commercial kitchen clean, stocked and running smoothly. Pay is $19.14 per hour, with overtime paid at $26.80 per hour when available, and you are paid weekly.
This is hands-on dishroom work for someone who takes pride in a spotless kitchen and can set the standard for the shift. You will be the person the kitchen team counts on to keep clean tableware, pots and pans moving back out to the line without delay.
What you will do:- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for the staff working each shift- Wash and sanitize tableware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and cooking equipment- Operate and maintain dish machines and washing stations throughout the shift- Keep the dishroom and all dishroom equipment clean, stocked and organized- Return clean items to their proper storage and staging areas so the kitchen stays on pace- Set the pace and quality standard for the dishroom during your shift- Follow sanitation and safety practices in all cleaning and handling tasks
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $19.14 per hour- Overtime paid at $26.80 per hour when available- Full-time schedule of about 40 hours per week- Shifts expected to run approximately 8:00am to 4:00pm- Short-term contract assignment- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior dishroom, kitchen or food service experience preferred- Comfortable standing for full shifts in a warm, fast-moving kitchen environment- Able to handle repetitive lifting, washing, scrubbing and cleaning tasks- Dependable, on time and able to work well as part of a team- Willingness to take the lead on dishroom organization and cleanliness- Able to complete standard pre-assignment screening
