C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term contract assignment in Moraga, CA. The pay is $23.29 per hour, with overtime paid at $32.61 per hour when applicable, and you are paid weekly.
This is a hands-on kitchen support role where you keep the dishroom running smoothly and make sure the kitchen team has clean, sanitized tableware and equipment ready when they need it. If you have worked a busy dish pit and know how to stay organized under pressure, this assignment is a good fit.
What you will do:- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for staff throughout the entire shift- Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment- Operate and monitor dish machines, keeping them clean and in good working order- Keep the dishroom organized so clean items are stocked, stacked, and easy to find- Support the flow of dishes during peak service so the kitchen keeps moving without backups- Handle cleaning chemicals correctly and maintain safe, sanitary work practices- Break down, clean, and reset the dishroom area at the end of service
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $23.29 per hour- Overtime is paid at $32.61 per hour when applicable- Shift runs from 4 PM to 11 PM- Approximately 8 hours total for the assignment week- Short-term contract assignment, shift-based work that may lead to additional opportunities- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior dishroom or kitchen experience preferred, especially in a lead role or a high-volume kitchen- Ability to stand and walk for the full shift- Ability to lift and carry dish racks, pots, pans, and cooking equipment- Comfort working around heat, water, steam, and cleaning chemicals for the duration of the shift- Reliability and strong attention to detail- Uniform required: black utility style pants, a black polo, and black slip-resistant shoes
